Historical notice — reviewed November 6, 2026. This message about client support during COVID-19 originally appeared in March 2020. It records our response at that time; it does not announce current operating hours, event restrictions, or health requirements.
Our original message expressed concern for people affected by the outbreak and described temporary changes to events and client communications. Those schedules and arrangements were specific to 2020.
What this historical notice preserves
The enduring commitment was simple: communicate clearly, respect the people affected, and keep clients informed when normal operations change. That commitment remains useful even when the disruption has a different cause.
We have removed the old gathering limits, event dates, and extended-hours announcement. We also removed wording that described emergency relief as currently available.
Lessons from client support during COVID-19
For business leaders, a continuity plan should explain how work will move forward when people, facilities, or suppliers become unavailable. The plan needs owners and practical communication steps.
- Identify the work and customers most affected.
- Assign a primary contact and a backup.
- Record open commitments and the next update date.
- Explain confirmed changes without promising uncertain outcomes.
- Review which decisions require customer authorization.
These are practical management recommendations, not a substitute for the requirements of a particular contract. Keep personnel matters separate from customer-facing performance updates where possible.

Keep the record useful
A historical notice should make its date and purpose obvious. Readers should be able to understand what happened then and find the appropriate route for help now. That is the purpose of this revised archive.
